My recent scholarship involves Barbie...and it isn't what you think. I'm not writing about how much I hate Barbie and how disgusting she is (although, she is). I'm not ranting about how any daughter of mine will not be permitted to play with Barbie (although, she won't)....instead, I am examining the power of Barbie to re-define and re-image certain groups of women.
